World's Best Smoothie.

No, I'm not kidding, that's the name of the smoothie that I tried and I love it so much so I thought I'd share it with you guys! I got this recipe from from their 20 Super Healthy smoothies ideas (link). The original recipe calls for strawberries, but I substituted that with blueberries instead because I had plenty of blueberries in my fridge. I also put 1 cup of orange juice instead of 1/2 a cup because I love orange juice. That's the fun thing about smoothies, y'know you can just go crazy with the recipe and add more of the things you like!

The combination of blueberries, yoghurt and orange juice make for a sour concoction but a hint of sweetness from the banana helps balance the final taste of this delicious smoothie! 

I've been drinking smoothies for breakfast lately, because it's so healthy, delicious and easy to make in the morning, great for people on-the-go. 

Here's what you'll need :
(servings : 1)
  • 1 cup of plain yoghurt
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice
  • 6 frozen strawberries 

Instructions :
1. Peel the banana and slice in into bite size pieces
2. Dump all the ingredients into the blender. 
3. Blend for 20 seconds.
4. Scrape the sides.
5. Blend for another 15 seconds. 
6. Drink the smoothie and make smoothie mustaches! 

That was easy, wasn't it?
