Review

Positives

• The bristles are densely compact and curved, so that helps my lashes to look lebat (full) and gives it a lot of volume.
• The formula is waterproof so it does stay on quite a bit and help keep that curl over time.
• Formula is more on the dry side, which I love. Nothing I hate more than mascaras that drips down when you accidentally blink as you apply it. 

Negatives

• Formula can get clumpy as you layer it on
• The brush is a tad bit too big for me 
• Formula dry up pretty fast so you need to use this up quickly

As you can see here, my lashes are short and sparse that you can't even see them! And oh, excuse my really bad eye bags, it's hereditary. (thanks ibu!) I've put on my Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum and my MAC pro conceal and correct in NC42 at this point, thus the pale face!

So I've curled my lashes, on the left but not on the right, as my best friend likes to say, "I have eyelashes, they're just asleep" so I've pretty much awaken my lashes on the left! I have serious dopey face. 

I've put on one layer of mascara here. You can see that it defines my lashes as well as make it look more full and curled. It's amazing what a good mascara can do isn't it?

Two coats of the Hypercurl on the left side, I'm not sure if I prefer two coats over one coat because I think it makes my lashes look short again. However, it does define it a little bit more. 

On the right side, you can see how the mascara performs if you don't curl your lashes. I've put on one layer of the mascara on my right eye, but I have very straight and sparse lashes, so not curling does not work for me.

If you look at the right eye, here's what happens if you curl your lashes after you put on your mascara. I know you're not supposed to do that but I was desperate, my lashes were nowhere to be found! But I had to, I wanted to demo to you guys how the mascara would perform without curling it. Now my right lashes look way perkier compared to the left but oh well! Side note, that lip colour though. All in all, for the price, I gotta say I'm loving the mascara. Who says u have to pay for an expensive mascara to make your eyes look good? This is probably one of my favorite Maybelline Mascara yet.
